We love technology! It’s arguably the most important element in racing, and we all depend on it in our everyday lives to help keep us one step ahead of the competition. Race inspired clothing just wouldn’t be complete without this component. So we’ve incorporated the latest in fabric technology into our clothes. From unique functional fabrics, to design elements that are, well, just plain cool, below are a few examples of features we’ve incorporated into our line.
coldblack®: Sun Reflector – UV Protector
Dark colors are known to heat up in direct sunlight more than light colors because they absorb both the visible and invisible elements of the sun's rays. coldblack® is a special finishing technology for textiles that reduces heat build-up on dark fabrics. Basically, a dark colored shirt treated with coldblack® will maintain a similar temperature as a white shirt when exposed to sunlight. How cool is that?!
Also, many textiles that are worn in summer or in the sunshine offer poor protection from damaging UV rays. The new coldblack® generation now guarantees a minimum UV protection of UPF 30 when applied for any textile* in any color without affecting the look or feel of the product.
energear™ textile technology from Schoeller ensures that the energy radiated by the body is recovered. This additional energy can positively affect performance and wellbeing.
Qi – two letters that stand for the most important thing of all: vital energy. Every living being emits energy in the form of Far Infrared Rays (FIRs). energear™, a specially developed titanium-mineral matrix, allows the body's own Far Infrared Rays (FIRs) to be reflected back to the body. This technology for fabrics is based in ancient knowledge about certain minerals which are able to reflect back FIRs.

c_change™: The Bionic Climate Membrane
c_change™ is a wind and waterproof membrane which independently reacts to changing temperatures and activities. Depending on the situation, breath ability or heat-retention increases or decreases. As a result,c_change™ always ensures a pleasant body climate.
The c_change™-membrane reacts to different prevailing conditions. In doing so, not only temperature but also air and body moisture are balanced out. At high temperatures, or during aerobic activity, the structure of the c_change™ membrane opens as body moisture levels rise. Excess heat can escape to the outside air. Due to the lower level of body moisture development in cold weather or during inactive periods, the structure of the membrane condenses, retaining the heat directly on the body. Shivering or chilling is effectively prevented.
NanoSphere®: Naturally self-cleaning
NanoSphere®, the nanotech-based finishing technology allows dirt and water to simply run off the surface of the textiles. This mimics the natural self-cleaning effect of certain plants whose leaves always remain clean, because dirt simply cannot adhere to the finely structured surface, and is easily washed off when it rains.
Water or such substances as ketchup, honey, coffee or red wine run off. And if they don't happen to run off of their own accord, they can easily be rinsed off with a little water. Cleaning or washing the textiles is significantly easier. The textiles require less frequent washing and are washed at lower temperatures.
3XDRY® treatments combine two technologies into one textile
On the outside the textile is finished with a water-repellent function, whereas on the fabric’s inside it absorbs perspiration.The treatment does not affect the appearance, hand or the air permeability features of the fabric.
As a result of the widespread distribution of moisture over a large surface area, it can evaporate rapidly. Therefore, textiles with 3XDRY®-finish also dry noticeably faster than those without 3XDRY® and ensure a feel good effect in all activities.
The properties of carbon fiber are low weight, high tensile strength, high flexibility, high resistance, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion. It’s very popular in aerospace, engineering, the military, and of course, motorsports. It’s also popular in many other active sports as well.Besides these properties, it looks really cool!
